Edgetech Instruments Inc. traces its history back to 1965, when it began operating as a part of EG&G using the ideas and inventions of Dr. Harold E. Edgerton. Not long after this group began functioning, EG&G decided to expand its involvement in the instrumentation market and acquired Geodyne Corporation (marine products) and Cambridge Systems (atmospheric products), creating the EG&G Environmental Equipment Division. It was Dr. Edgerton, and his tireless efforts to build better technological solutions to problems, that inspired the “EdgeTech” name, honoring him and driving the company with a commitment to remain at the leading edge of technologies in the markets served.

Edgetech Instruments Inc. came under new ownership and management in 2014, moving to a modern new facility in Hudson, Massachusetts, USA.  Edgetech Instruments manufactures highly reliable, state-of-the-art instruments, which deliver unprecedented value and world-class performance. Currently, Edgetech Instruments focuses on trace moisture, relative humidity, and oxygen measurement, utilizing varying technologies. We have built a state-of-the-art calibration lab which is ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited where we calibrate not only Edgetech Instruments but also other brands of moisture, temperature, and oxygen instrumentation.
