ETI will evaluate instruments for re-verification of performance using industry credentialed procedures and calibration standards traceable to NIST; however, if upon incoming evaluation it is determined that the returned unit needs repair before performance verification or calibration can be completed, the customer will be notified. Also, if the serial number on the returned equipment indicates it is 15 or more years old, due to availability of replacement components, repairs may not be possible in a timely or cost-effective manner. If becomes the case, an ETI service technician will outline possible alternatives for your consideration.
